How to Create & Add Product Attributes & Variations in Jigoshop

Jigoshop plug-in for Wordpess lets you set up attributes (size, pattern, color, etc.) and create variations for them (small, medium, red, etc.), and apply those attributes and variations to individual products.

To create product attributes and/or variations that don’t exist yet, go to the Jigoshop attributes area.

To add attributes and/or variations to a product, once the attributes and/or variations have been created in the attributes area, go to the product page.

Here are the details:

To create a new attribute (for instance, size) type an Attribute Label in the “Add New Attribute” section, under “Attribute Label”. In the “Attribute Slug” area, you should also type in a lower-case version of the label with no spaces. Then click the “Add Attribute” button. Your new attribute will be added to the list.

3. To create variations for an attribute (for instance, small, medium, large) click on the “Configure Terms” button next to the attribute’s name (see pic above). For each new variation, type a name and a slug and then click the “Add New Whatever” (for instance, Add New Size) button.

These variations should now be available to select from on your product page.
